「天然温泉 田沢湖レイクリゾート」は本館のホテル宿泊がメインで、グランピングはプランの一部。
部屋は、「スノーピーク」×世界的建築家プロデュース「モバイルハウス住箱-JYUBAKO-」木製のトレーラーハウスで、外観・内装もオシャレなデザインが魅力。
広さは11㎡の定員3名。大人だと2名くらいが妥当なサイズ感で、広くはありません。室内は冷暖房・冷蔵庫完備でソファ付き。
広大な草原の好立地で、部屋からの眺めも評判です。2棟だけの贅沢な配置。
部屋前のデッキテラスも専用の椅子・テーブル付き。焚き火の提供も。
バス・トイレは室内にないので、本館ホテルの利用です。
食事は、部屋前のデッキテラスでとるBBQか、ホテルのビュッフェなど、プランによって様々。
ペット同伴宿泊は、グランピングでは提供していません（ホテルの洋室宿泊プランのみ対応）
お風呂は、ホテルの天然温泉。四季の景観が楽しめる露天風呂、大浴場、サウナがあります。
ホテル館内には漫画喫茶、卓球、ビリヤードなどの設備。

- 料理は肉、魚介、野菜とバランスがよく、下ごしらえは住んでいるので、説明書を見ながら、簡単調理で本格的なグランピング料理が楽しめました。オプションで料理に合うワインもセット出来たので、なおさら美味しくいただけました。翌朝も美味しい料理と挽きたてのコーヒーで最高でした。
- 部屋はきれいなトレーラーハウスで、内外に木材が貼ってあります。節の多い木できれいな模様のようで、居心地が良かったです。断熱性も良いようで、気温が1桁の冷え込む夜でも、エアコンをつければしっかり温まります。ただ、トイレと風呂は本館まで移動となるので、事前に理解してから予約をしないと後悔すると思います。
- 日が暮れると、調理の手元が暗くなるので、ヘッドライトなどの懐中電灯と防寒着があると快適だと思います。全身に焚き火の匂いがつくので、着替えは多めに持って行くと良いと思います。
- 目の前に広大な草原が広がる自然の空間にオシャレな住箱がありとても有意義な時間を過ごせました。 バーベキューのプランにはしてませんが焚き火はできたのでキャンプ気分を十分に味わえました。 ホテルのバイキングも種類が豊富で子供も大変喜んでました。 また来たいと思わせてくれるホテルです。
